What happens if Iran finishes 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th in the group?

If Iran wins Group G (1st)
They would reach the Round of 32 (match 82) and play against one of the 8 best third-placed teams.
If Iran finishes 2nd in Group G
They would reach the Round of 32 (match 88) and play against the runner-up of Group D.

They only advance if they finish among the 8 best third-placed teams. If so, they would play the winner of Group I or B (depending on which other thirds qualify).
